Roles and invitations
Scoring together works with roles. Each person in a club has one role, for the whole club or for one team.
The roles
- Owner
- Can do everything, including deleting the club and handing over ownership.
- Administrator
- Manages members, teams and games, but cannot delete the club or change an owner.
- Scorer
- Creates and scores games, manages the live settings and invites viewers for their own games.
- Bench coach
- Reads the game and charts pitches, but does not score. May switch off the live password of a youth game.
- Viewer
- Reads games and statistics.
Invite a second scorer
- Open the account screen and tap "Scorers and roles", or tap "Invite a second scorer" before the game.
- Enter an e-mail address if you like, choose the role and whether it applies to the whole club or one team.
- Tap "Create invitation" and share the link or let the other person scan the QR code. The invitation is valid for 14 days.
Accept an invitation
Open the link on the phone or tablet with the app. The app opens and shows who invites you, then tap "Accept invitation". Without the app, the link opens a page on coachball.app where you can install it first. A used or expired invitation no longer works: ask for a new one.
Plan limits
The plan of your club determines how many teams, players and games you can save online. Scoring on your device always keeps working. When a limit is reached, uploading stops and the sync status of the game shows the reason. After an upgrade on coachball.app the app sends the waiting actions by itself.
