Why we built CoachBall
CoachBall started on the field, not behind a desk. Coaching youth teams, we kept running into the same problems: lineups in spreadsheets, attendance in group chats, statistics in a notebook and parents who never knew what time to show up. The information existed, just never in one place.
So we built the tool we were missing: one place for your team, where planning, tracking and communicating come together. Everything we add gets tested in our own season first. If it does not work on a rainy Tuesday evening at the field, it does not ship.
What we do
CoachBall is a team management platform for baseball and softball teams. Coaches, team managers and club administrators use it to manage games, practices, attendance, lineups, statistics, media and team communication. Clubs run multiple teams in a single workspace. The basics are free for every coach.

What we stand for
Privacy comes first
We handle data about underage players. That is why we are fully GDPR compliant, encrypt all data and never sell or share team information with third parties. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Fair playing time
Development starts with playing. Our lineup generators divide playing time and positions fairly, so every player gets their turn and you can explain the choices afterwards.
Built for volunteers
Most coaches do this next to a full-time job. Features have to make sense within minutes, on a phone, with cold hands, standing next to the field.
Who is behind it
CoachBall is made by a small team that coaches too. We build the platform from the Netherlands and use it ourselves every season, alongside coaches and clubs in 15+ countries.
Kobalt Digital
CoachBall is developed and maintained by Kobalt Digital, a Dutch development agency that has been building web applications for over ten years. That means a professional team keeps the platform running, with regular updates and security handled properly.
