Share a game live
Parents and fans follow the game on coachball.app while you score: scoreboard, play-by-play and box score. For this you need an account and the game must be synced.
Turn on live viewing
- Open the game and tap "Overview".
- Open "Live viewing" and switch on "Live viewing on".
- Under "Who can watch" choose Only me, My club, "Anyone with the link" or Everyone. The public page opens for "Anyone with the link" and Everyone. Everyone is not recommended for youth games.
Password
Switch on "Ask for a password", type a password of at least 6 characters and tap "Save password". The password is never sent along with the link, so share it separately with the people who may watch.
Youth teams are protected
For a team with a youth age category (U9 up to U21) a password is required and viewers see first names only, unless you change that. Only an owner, administrator or bench coach can switch off the password for a youth game.
What viewers see
Choose how names appear: Full names, First names or Numbers only. You can also show season statistics. While the game is on, "Watching now" shows how many people are watching.
Share the link
Tap "Share link" or show the QR code. You can also send the link by e-mail from the app. The link looks like coachball.app/live/ followed by a code. Tap "Create a new link" when the old link should stop working, or "Stop and remove the link" to end live viewing.
