Team Practice Management

With CoachBall you can organize and manage every part of team practices. From planning to attendance and weather alerts, everything is in one place.

Create Team Practice

To create a new team practice, click the add button in the team practices dashboard. Then select the team and location, set date and time, give the practice a theme, and add a detailed practice plan in the rich text editor.

The team practice form lets you select a team and location, set date and time, define a theme (for example "Hitting Technique" or "Defense"), and add a detailed practice plan with drills and notes.

View Practice Details

When you click a practice in the overview, you see all details: team info, date and time, location, weather checklist, attendance by player, and the full practice plan.

Register Attendance

For each practice, you can register attendance for all players. Per player, set present, absent, or unknown, and optionally add a reason for absences. Parents and guardians can also update attendance from their dashboard.

When creating or editing a practice, you see all players from the selected team. Set attendance per player (present, absent, unknown) with optional notes. Changes are saved automatically.

Weather Information and Coaching Checklist

CoachBall automatically retrieves weather data for each practice based on location and date. You see temperature, precipitation, wind, UV index, and a coaching checklist with actionable safety guidance.

Based on your practice location and date, CoachBall fetches current weather automatically. You get a visual weather card plus a prioritized checklist with practical actions like extra hydration breaks or drill adjustments.

Practice Plan and Notes

Use the rich text editor to build a detailed practice plan with drills, time blocks, and notes. The plan is visible to all coaches.

Automatic Attendance Reminders

CoachBall automatically sends reminders to parents and guardians 24 hours before each practice so attendance gets confirmed early.

Attendance Statistics

CoachBall automatically tracks which players regularly attend and which players may need extra attention. You can view these statistics in the team overview under "Attendance Statistics". This helps you recognize patterns and intervene in time when necessary.
