CoachBall

Scoring without signal

The app never waits for the network. Every pitch is saved on your device first and sent as soon as there is a connection.

Syncing

In the settings you choose when the app syncs: Always or Never. On the game card and in the top bar a symbol shows the state: waiting, syncing, synced, needs attention or conflict. Open the "Sync status" of a game to see what is waiting, and tap "Retry now" or "Sync now" to send it straight away.

Two devices on one game

Several scorers may score the same game from different devices. Agree on the field who scores. When two devices recorded different actions, the app solves short differences by itself and tells you what happened, for example "Another device went on scoring". When both sides have more than ten different actions, the app asks you to "Resolve the conflict": choose "Keep the server version" or "Keep my version".

How long you stay signed in

You stay signed in for 90 days after you last used the app, with a maximum of one year. Being offline does not sign you out. When your session has ended, the app shows "Sign in again". Your games and unsent actions are kept.

Update the app

When your version of the app is too old to sync, the game shows "Update the app". Your games and every unsent action stay safe and you can keep scoring. After the update the app syncs again.
