Onboarding

The onboarding flow guides new users through setting up their account and getting started with CoachBall in three simple steps.

Onboarding Steps

Enter Your Name

Set your display name. This is how other team members will see you in the application.

Join or Create a Workspace

Either join an existing workspace using a join code, or create a new workspace as head coach.

Role Welcome

See a personalized welcome message based on your role with guidance on where to start.

Workspace Options

Join Existing Workspace

Enter the join code you received from your team coach or manager. You will be added to the workspace with the role assigned in your invitation.

Create New Workspace

Start a new workspace as head coach. You will be the workspace owner and can invite other members from there.

Role-Specific Welcome

After joining a workspace, you see a personalized welcome based on your role. Each role is directed to the most relevant starting point: coaches go to teams, guardians to their dashboard, scouts to player search, and so on.
