Link your account
Scoring on your device is free and needs no account. With a free CoachBall account you keep a copy of your games online, share them with a second scorer and let parents watch live. Saving and sharing follow the plan of your club.
Create an account or sign in
- Go to "Settings" and open "CoachBall account".
- Choose "Create account": enter your name, e-mail address and a password of at least 12 characters and accept the terms. Already have an account on coachball.app? Use "Sign in" with the same details.
- On a phone or tablet you can also choose "Continue with Google", Microsoft or Facebook. That is the same account as on coachball.app, linked by e-mail address.
Confirm your e-mail address
After creating an account with e-mail and password you receive an e-mail with a code of six digits. The code is valid for 15 minutes. Open coachball.app, sign in with the same e-mail address and password and enter the code on the page that asks for it. Accounts created with Google, Microsoft or Facebook are confirmed right away. Until your address is confirmed, the app cannot save games online.
Choose your club and team
On the account screen you choose a club and a team. Games you sync are filed under that team. A game only syncs when one of the two teams is linked to a team of your club. If not, the sync status of the game tells you to link a team.
What happens to games on your device
Signing in changes nothing on your device: your games stay where they are. The app downloads your clubs, teams, rosters and recent games, and then uploads your games in the background, a block at a time. Practice games never leave your device.
Sign out
Tap "Sign out" on the account screen. Your games and any actions that were not sent yet stay on the device.
